Over here at Perry Rose Media, we're gearing up for next month's busy schedule of showcases and appointments. With only two looks left, we're drawing closer and closer to New York Bridal Fashion Week - and we're so excited for it! This week's look from accessory designer Kata Banko Couture and gown designer Victoria Spector has all the elements a modern bride desires: unique details, romantic backstory, and one-of-a-kind styling.
From Victoria Spector, we have a two-piece set inspired by harmony in nature. Victoria explains, "My favorite element in this design is the embellished fabric - coral shaped and 3D flower embroidery on the skirt correlates perfectly [with my idea and inspiration]."
The lace-accented, sweetheart strapless crop top offers balance to the voluminous top layer of the skirt. This soft, ethereal ensemble embellished in 3D flowers and crystalline detail is styled with a rose quartz crown from Kata Banko Couture.
With every accessory, every veil and every belt from Kata Banko Couture, you can bet there's a story behind its name. The Amelia Rose Quartz Crown is no exception. Colleen Bankovich, owner and designer of Kata Banko Couture, tells this piece's charmed tale:
"I've never in my life met a woman who was so loved by her mate. No matter what happened in life, they always found each other through the chaos. This crown was created for a very intimate ceremony in which they exchanged vows together in the woods beneath a Summer Solstice full moon. The bride wearing this crown will emulate the soul-deep unwavering love for which it was created."
